ClickVerse LLC DBA STUDYPARTNERS DOT US and StudyPartners.us ("SP", "we", or "us") takes your privacy seriously. StudyPartners.us provides its users with a number of benefits, including access to user-generated and SP-included study partners, the Extractor feature, multiple testing modes, printable worksheets, and other services (hereinafter collectively our "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use the information you provide on our Service.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access our Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

This policy covers how SP treats personal information that SP collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name or email address and that is not otherwise publicly available.

Signup

We require a valid email address in order to authorize purchases and setup an administrator account for all our Services. For all multi-member plans and any of our Services that are not for individuals, we do not require an email address for accounts other than the administrator. The only other identifying information we collect is for how users want their names to appear on their Certificates.

For family and school accounts we encourage account administrators to use the student's first name only and, if necessary, a number, last initial, or class period for Certificates. For usernames we recommend users select a username which is not related to their actual name.

Aside from an email address for administrative access and a name to appear on study partner Certificates, we do not ask for a user's birthdate, mailing address, or any other information that can be used for identification purposes.

Study Partners & World Education

When users create study partners we may share them publically or with other users at our discretion unless specifically added through our subsidiary Enroll Data, thereby, subject to the Enroll Data Terms of Use. Users of our Services may opt to include their world location or not. If users choose to share location information, location information will be stored and displayed with the users's study partners.

This privacy policy only applies to StudyPartners.us

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that SP does not own or control, or to people that SP does not employ or manage.

SP automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, SP cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.

SP uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting about our business operations and web-based platform.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

SP does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission.

We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of SP's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

We will transfer information about you if SP is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, SP will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

SP may set and access SP cookies on your computer to identify and track your usage of our Services.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

You can edit your SP Account Information at any time.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the SP service, such as service announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your SP account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

You can delete your SP account by notifying us at contact@studypartners.us.

Third Parties and Web-based Advertising

We do not advertise third parties on our website.

However, we may advertise our Services on other websites not owned by SP such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other sites. We cannot control how these third parties collect and use your information. Please refer to their company policies to protect and control how these third parties collect, use, and share your information.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
